Who we are
We are confident that with our long service in the consultancy practice we possess that experience and technical expertise required to offer our clients the highest standards of service. Our Office has so far successfully completed many important projects, the majority of which are located in Cyprus. In addition to this, it must be stressed that each member of the management and staff is to be credited with his individual wide experience gained by participating in the biggest building projects in Nicosia and other parts of Cyprus, and overseas, where they worked for many years prior to the establishment of the firm or before they joined the firm.
Staff experience covers all fields of the Building and Technical Sections and ranges from hotel construction to residential units, land development & civil engineering projects, military camps, telecommunication buildings, churches, commercial centers, clinics, hospitals, industrial projects, block of offices and many others.
The target has always been to maintain the highest standards in our work, with honesty and punctuality in our dealings, in accordance with the set standards and rules of our practice.
The firm has considerable human resources available consisting of professionally qualified personnel, backed by the wide-ranging experience and expertise of its principals and senior management. Extensive in-house support services are available and particular attention has been paid to the use of computers as a tool for improving the quality of the service offered to our clients.
Computer programmes have been developed to assist our professional work in take-off, cost estimating, cash flow prediction, valuation of work in progress, final accounting, cost reporting and cost control, contract documentation, construction cost analysis, material and cost data information.
Nicolaou & Konnides aim to support the quality of their work through the use of modern technology and, to this end; all Nicolaou & Konnides offices are fully computerised. Each regional office is equipped with local area network for professional use. Stand alone PCs and laptops are available for site use. Email and internet access is available to all offices.
The Partners maintain a policy of close personal involvement in all projects and particular attention is paid to the quality and standard of work produced by the firm.

Graduate QS Training Scheme
Nicolaou & Konnides has an established in-house Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) Structured Graduate Quantity Surveyor Training Scheme approved by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). The training scheme is designed for recent graduates, those who will qualify this year, and those who hold a recognized qualification in quantity surveying.
The training scheme will provide practical experience for those wishing to prepare for the APC leading to the qualifications ASCS / MRICS.
Graduate Surveyors will be allocated a Training Supervisor and Counsellor, who will guide them towards their goal in becoming a Member of the RICS.
They will learn technical skills through working on a variety of projects supported by the extensive Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme and in-house APC preparation workshops.
